Cylch Meithrin y Fenni

We are a member of Mudiad Meithrin, the national voluntary network of Welsh language playgroups. 

Cylch Meithrin Y Fenni is a not-for-profit Welsh-medium nursery based in Abergavenny, open every term time weekday from 8am-3pm.  It was established in 2005. We provide pre-school childcare for 2-4 year olds through the medium of Welsh, including craft, painting, reading, imaginative play and early years toys indoors, with an outside play area including water, sand, construction, and play equipment. We aim to provide a happy family atmosphere where children learn Welsh through play. Our philosophy is centred on the Foundation Phase, where language development is fostered by games, stories, finger-rhymes and songs. 

We welcome children from all backgrounds, especially non-Welsh speakers who want their children to develop bilingual skills from an early age.
